Under decree 2992/2016 issued by the Egyptian Prime Minister, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) are the only authorized Government Agency responsible for the inspection of corn, soybeans and wheat at the ports of origin.
To accomplish this, the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) contract international survey companies to conduct inspection of corn, soybeans and wheat at the ports of origin assuring compliance with Egyptian standards.
We are pleased to announce that with effect from 13th of August 2017 the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) has appointed CIS Commodity Inspection Services as an accredited and recognized certification body to inspect corn, soybeans and wheat at the ports of origin.
